||During Sunday School, feel free to drop off children
under the age of 2 so that you may go enjoy one of
our other the Sunday School classes for yourself.
The nursery is located in room 102, which is west
of the sanctuary. Children will enjoy playing,
story time and lots of love and care by Mrs. Allison.
|2-3 Year Olds
||Children in this age range will start upstairs in the
ECE room (#206) to enjoy singing time with Mrs. Francis.
After singing, they will go downstairs to play in the
nursery and enjoy story and play time with Mrs.
Treasure, Mrs. Amanda or Mrs. Mindy.
|4-5 Year Olds
||Children will begin Sunday School in the ECE classroom
(#206) enjoying singing time with Mrs. Francis. After signing,
they will head downstairs to the room next to the nursery (#101)
to enjoy story time, crafts and activities that all teach them
bible stories, our love for the Lord and how to be kind to
one another. This class is taught by Mrs. Ann, Mrs. Susan,
Mrs. Whitney, Mrs. Haley and Mrs. Mindy.
||Kindergarteners enjoy singing time with Mrs. Francis
at the beginning of Sunday School in the ECE classroom (#206).
Next they will enjoy story time, crafts and activities
with Mrs. Dinah, Mrs. Marilyn and Mrs. Bessie. Children
will begin to learn the deeper meaning behind the common
bible stories they already know so that they can go and
share the love of the Lord with those around them.
Kindergarteners stay in the ECE classroom upstairs for
the entire hour.
|1st and 2nd Graders
||Mrs. Deanna teaches the 1st and 2nd grade class. They
spend time learning the stories of the bible and how to
incorporate those lessons into their lives. They meet in
the room upstairs across from the ECE classroom (#207).
||This Sunday school class is taught by Mrs. Vivian
and focuses on Hands-on-Activities to learn about
the Bible and Jesus. They meet in the room upstairs
across from the ECE classroom (#208) and they welcome
6th - 8th Graders have started Sunday Funday with
Mrs. Sarah and Mrs. Sara. They focus on active lessons
that intertwine faith, friends and the community with
the purpose of figuring out God's purpose for each of
them. Sunday Funday is a fun, safe place to explore
God's love and how to be a Christian in a teenage
setting. They would love for you to come and join in
all the fun! This classroom is located at the end of the
hallway overlooking the gym.
| High Schoolers
||9th - 12th Graders are welcome to join Mrs. Jennifer
in room #210 which is at the top of the stairs across
from the bathrooms and water fountains. The youth lesson
and discussions focus on helping teens develop and take
ownership of their own faith and apply it to the world
they experience each day.
| Parents and Young Adults
||There is now a place for parents and young adults
to meet over the Sunday School hour. Please join
us as we cover topics relating to the demands of
parenting, marriage, and work, and how we approach
our busy lives through the Christian lens. We will
cover relevant topics based on the feedback and needs
of the group. We hope to create a setting where you feel
comfortable to reflect upon your faith in the Lord, and
share your joys and frustrations. Please join us for coffee,
fellowship and discussions in the classroom (#209) across from
the restrooms and water fountain in the youth hallway.
||This group Seeks to study the bible in depth. They have a
classroom located downstairs in the fellowship hall. Their
group uses a study guide, but will provide it that day if
needed. They have also adopted a Bright Futures Class and
regularly take part in reading and volunteering in the
classroom. They have quite the gathering, so feel free
to join them and find out what they are all about!
| Circle L
||The Circle L Sunday School class is taught by Fred and
Carolyn McAllister and meets on the main level in
the classroom on the way to the gym (#110). This class
is ideal for adults of mid to older ages and welcomes
singles, couples and widows. They focus on current
life situations as related to the scripture. The Circle L
class enjoys volunteering together for Christmas Cheer,
Samaritan Center and other ways to help the church
and community. This is a friendly and caring group
that would love for you to join them.
|| The Koinonia Sunday School class is taught by Suzanne
Ammons and meets upstairs (#201). They are located to the west
of the balcony. This class has a variety of middle aged
individuals and couples. They cover a wide variety of
topics that relate to living a Christian life. This group
truly enjoys supporting each other through their busy
lives. If you enjoy conversation that allows you to relate
with others, then this is the class for you.
| Men's Class
||This class is led by Mike Kiely and is located in the coffee
area near the gym. The men meet to discuss topics
that are relevant in their lives and how those relate
to living a Christian life. If you want a relaxed environment
and interesting conversation, this is the place for you.
